What was my 2019 summer like?

The first month


In my first month, I really didn't know what to do. Everything felt weird, and I was always dizzy because school was done. What was I supposed to do? In the first week or so, I just wanted to relax... so that was the first thing I made sure of to tick in my "To-Do List". After the first week, I started working on completing my list. I started writing: "I have to play football", "I must do my Homework", "But all of these things are dull", I thought. In two weeks or more, I started beeing more and more confident about the things I was going to do this summer. I began doing more interesting things than just "Playing football" or "Doing homework", like programming, photoshopping pictures, or editing videos. I was finally getting along with the summer.

The following month

July, the month which I am born in, by the way, was the best month of them all. This month I found out about a new passion of mine: guitar playing. It all started on the first day. My dad "forced" me to go to the guitar courses which took place near our house. I started going there about three times a week, which made me enjoy the course a lot more. The teacher was very nice and the children I was learning with were very friendly! All of them tried to make me enjoy playing the guitar, and they really helped! Also, I started to play video games like Fortnite, Minecraft, and Overwatch because all of them are really fun to play with friends! This had been the best July I have ever had for years!

Finally, August

August was the most dull month of them all. All I did was to do my homework for school, do housework, and stay on the couch doing nothing! There was literally NOTHING to do! I wasn't allowed to play any video games because school was going to start and the only fun thing to do was to play the guitar! All in all, I had a very cool vacation, even though I didn't go to any foreign country, I stayed home and did what I wanted, and that is all that matters to me. I hope you enjoyed my article!

The whole story is about a girl named Minli, who comes from a very poor family. She only had some coins, which her parents kept for a long time.
